My love of plants all began back in central Illinois where I grew up. My family and grandparents had gardens which I loved to tend. I even took a couple botanical classes in college - even though that was completely unrelated to my major. And now, my life in the Pacific Northwest has many opportunities to go out and explore wildflowers in Spring and Summer.
